Quality products, timely safe service, and dependability: these are terms that have been associated with Midstream Fuel Service LLC ("MFS") for almost 30 years. The marine industry has counted on us along the Mississippi and Alabama coasts since the 1970’s. Regularly satisfied customers have asked us to expand into other Gulf Coast areas. We looked forward to the day this would be a reality. It finally arrived.

By 1998 MFS had grown into a premier regional provider of fuels and lubricants to the marine transportation sector. We also successfully serviced the oil & gas industries with shorebase and logistical support. It was during this time that Martin Resource Management Corporation, a privately held diverse company with varied businesses in the oil industry acquired MFS and it’s subsidiaries. Another important Martin milestone occurred in 2002 when a number of our business units went public under Martin Midstream Partners L.P. (NASDAQ /MMLP). This offering resulted in many benefits, including capital for additional related acquisitions. In late 2003 Martin obtained the assets of Tesoro Marine Services. Now MFS had the chance to expand our presence along the Gulf, service longstanding customers in new areas, and develop new opportunities and relationships.

MFS specializes in fuels, lubricants and logistical support. We operate the most geographically diverse and strategically located network of facilities on the entire Gulf Coast. We are in the right places, striving daily to do things the right way. Hopefully we can earn the chance to prove it to you.
